Cheveley Community Association (CCA)
Since 1991 CCA has administered the Community Room, which is next to the school with a separate entrance from Park Road.
The Committee is made up of representatives from each of the village clubs that use the room. The Committee aim to keep the charges for the room as low as possible to promote its use for the benefit of the Parish of Cheveley
In order to achieve this, the Committee organise various fund raising events. In the last year there has been a Summer Concert, a Bedding Plant Sale, a Quiz night and a Christmas Fair. Even if you do not have time to help with these events, just coming along helps to maintain this facility.
Users of the room include:-
Acorns pre school for under 5s
Bowls Club
Brownies
Evergreens (60+ club with fortnightly talks, quizzes, outings etc)
Flower Arranging Group
Parish Council
Womens Institute
Workers Educational Association (Friday morning lecture series)
