The South Ward of Cheveley Parish Council (the village of Cheveley) is currently under-represented with one of the Ward’s six seats vacant.

We would like to invite you to consider joining us as a Councillor.

It is the Parish council’s responsibility to shape the future of our community and to represent its people. We are consulted on planning applications, policy documents and highway and road safety matters. We encourage recycling and are responsible for recreation grounds and other amenity areas.

To be involved in exercising influence on issues which affect our physical and social environment is a privilege and - at a time in which all political parties are realizing that support for neighbourhood organisations is the cornerstone of civil society - offers a real opportunity to make a difference.
